We do our best to eat right, exercise, and keep our bodies healthy, but despite our best efforts, sometimes our bodies need a little extra help in warding off “the sickies”! Medicine should be a last resort if good old fashioned natural remedies and a little patience aren’t working. It’s easy to give in and find a seemingly quick relief from the uncomfortable and unwanted symptoms that arise with a cold, flu, anxiety, digestive troubles, heartburn, stress, allergies, and arthritis. Just keep in mind that medicine treats the symptoms and not the underlying problem, not to mention it oftentimes throws off the rest of your body, causing other symptoms to occur. Whichever route you take, what’s the harm in trying some natural remedies first and seeing just how powerful they can be!

  1. Do you know if a health food store would have the items listed for GERD? My teenager suffers from it and has been taking long term omeprozole, and I would love her to be able to stop!

    • Hi Julia! Thanks for asking and yes you should be able to get all these items at your local healthfood or health store and if they don’t carry it I would ask them if they know who does or if they can order some for you. All 3 of my children struggled with GERD issues in their first 1-2 years, and although it’s not a present struggle now, we have dramatically changed our diets which has kept everyone’s digestive tract much better. Please let me know if you have any other questions! Happy Healing!!
