30 Day Smoothie/Juice Challenge:
DAY 7: Recipe of the Day
Start the MORNING with some Refreshing –
Just add some cucumber slices to a glass of ice water and maybe even a lemon wedge.
For BREAKFAST try this –
Hearty Oatmeal Berry Smoothie
- 2 Cups Frozen Mixed Berries (blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries)
- 2 Tbsp Ground Flaxseed*
- 1/2 Cup Ground Oats*
- 2 Tbsp Coconut Oil
- 1 Tbsp Nut Butter (I use almond butter)
- 1 – 2 Cups** Almond Milk (or any milk you like)
*You can easily grind both the flaxseed/oats in a coffee grinder. If you don’t have one you can still add them in, but depending on the quality of your blender it may be more gritty in texture.
**Depending on the quality of your blender add more or less almond milk.
Blend all together until smooth and enjoy.
