W E E K 2 has officially started!
What exciting blends shall we come up with THIS week? Are you having fun and experimenting with different fruits and veggies, seeing what creations you like and which ones you probably won’t try again. There is so much F R E E D O M in Juicing and Blending RAW goodness. I love how you can add other hearty things like seeds, oats, nuts, and even oils the mix or try different liquid bases. I don’t think myself to be a Blending or Juicing Genius, I haven’t created Top Selling Smoothie/Juicing Books (yet, that is…who knows where life will lead me. I’m open to anything), and I am not a Fruit and Veggie Expert. I’m just a girl who desires to live healthier, sometimes becomes defeated by her sweet tooth cravings, and keeps pushing on blending and juicing and finding new flavors to boldly try until…Voila! A new, successful creation emerges.

DAY 8: Recipe of the Day
Some Flavor Combinations to Try:
Ginger Green Goodness Smoothie
- 4 Kale Leaves, ripped into pieces
- 1 Organic Green Apple, cored & cut into chunks
- 1 Organic rib of Celery, cut into chunks
- 3-4 inch piece of Organic Cucumber, cut into chunks
- 1-2 inch piece of Ginger, peeled & cut into chunks
- 1 Organic Lemon, cut rind off & remove seeds
- 1-2 Tbsp Organic Chia Seeds
- 4 Ice Cubes
- 1/2 – 1 Cup Filtered Water
Toss all your ingredients into the blender. If you don’t have a higher quality blender you will need to blend a little longer to achieve a smoother texture. You may want to add water slowly until you get the consistency you like OR you can try adding in an ingredient at a time and blending with a little water and continue adding & blending. Pour into a tall glass and grab a straw.
