Smoothie Juice Challenge:

DAY 19

 

You have got to try this super simple, refreshingly radiant, smoothie blend. The summer weather may be fading away (although in AZ we are still experiencing 100 degree temps), but we aren’t done “refreshing” yet. So come on, blend it up!!!
DAY 19: Recipe of the Day

Cucumber Watermelon Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 Heaping Cups Watermelon, seeded
  • 6-8 Frozen Strawberries, halved
  • 1 Medium Cucumber, halved (peel for a less pulpy texture)
  • 4 Basil Leaves
  • 1 Tbsp Agave (optional)

Combine ingredients with cucumbers going in the blender first. Blend until smooth. Serve and ENJOY!

 

Cucumber Watermelon Refresher

*Pitcher Size* 

Ingredients

  • 4 Medium Cucumbers
  • 5 Heaping Cups Watermelon, seeded
  • 5-6 Mint Leaves
  • 3 Limes
  • 1 Tsp Agave Nectar
  • 2 Cups Seltzer Water
  • 2 Cups Ice Cubes

Juice the Cucumbers and Watermelon (you can strain the juice through a sieve for less pulp). Squeeze in the juice of 1 of the Limes, add Agave and stir. Put Ice into a pitcher. Slice the other 2 Limes. Add Limes and Mint Leaves to the pitcher. Pour in the Cucumber Watermelon Juice and the Seltzer Water. Give it all a stir, serve, and ENJOY!!!
