It’s not just about a Challenge for me, but a Lifestyle Choice of adding in the healthy, nutritional, pureness of whole fruits and veggies everyday. I don’t always make the best decisions with food and I sometimes give in to those sugary cravings, just like the next person, but I know I am on a good path and with this Challenge, so are YOU! 30 Day Smoothie/Juice Challenge:

DAY 22: Recipe of the Day

Juicy Berry Smoothie

…OR Juice

(Can make a Smoothie OR Juice)

  • 1 cup Blackberries, fresh
  • 1 cup Raspberries, fresh
  • 1 cup Strawberries, fresh (use frozen for smoothie)
  • 3 Plums, sliced
  • 1 Peach, sliced (use frozen for smoothie)
  • 1 medium Cucumber, sliced (peeled for smoothie/skin on for juice)
  • *Water (only for smoothie)

For Juice:

Juice and Enjoy

For Smoothie:
Dice up the plums/peeled cucumber into small pieces to create a smoother consistency. Blend fresh berries plums with 1/4 – 1/2 cup water to create a liquid base. Add all ingredients, blend until smooth adding in more water as needed. If you have a juicer, you can juice the cucumber and add that as the liquid base for the smoothie, otherwise just dice up the cucumber adding to the other ingredients, add water, and blend until smooth.
