By now, you should  L O V E  Smoothies and Juices

When first approaching the life of Blending and Juicing it can seem Too Hard To Commit To, To Expensive To Do, Too Much Work, etc. These are the feelings of so many people when presented with a Smoothie/Juice Challenge. But, by now you see how EASY and SIMPLE and DELICIOUS blending and juicing can be. All those fears and worries about tastes, flavors, and adding in greens has subsided and you are coming to appreciate those power-packed greens as a part of your daily routine. The health benefit, the energy, the gratification you get every time you slurp up one of these drinks is far superior to life before you started this journey. For me, I was like – WHY HAVE I NOT BEEN DOING THIS BEFORE!!! You don’t have to have an expensive blender, you don’t even have to have a juicer. You can start, as so many have before, with your regular blender and just experiment, create, and discover your favorite flavor combinations. As you get more into it, adding a juicer will increase the nutritional benefits you receive and give you an additional BOOST of flavor creations, vitamins, minerals, energy, and zing. Cutting out the “meat” of the fruits and veggies is a quick was to pack in all your body needs and feel its effects almost instantly since your body doesn’t have to work to break anything down first. Investing in a High-Powered Blender like a Blendtec or VitaMix down the line will definitely prove helpful, but for now…JUST START WHERE YOU ARE WITH WHAT YOU HAVE AND MAKE THE CHANGE!!!

DAY 23: Recipe of the Day

kale peach banana smoothie

Kale Peach Banana Smoothie

  • 2 stalks of Kale, bones removed
  • 2 Peaches, diced (you can use fresh or frozen)*
  • 1 Banana, diced
  • 1 cup Almond Milk
  • 3-4 Cubes of Ice*

Blend until smooth and Enjoy.

*If using frozen peaches, omit the ice cubes. (Also you can peel, dice, and freeze the banana too)
